Tahammul the Buried

It was year zero, and Tahammul woke to a blinding light, the same light that had reduced much of the Rey Dynasty's population to ash. Just as his cousins (the Stomping Sycamores) are to the Mushroom Forest, Tahammul is to the Whispering Dunes. And in his slumber, the land he was born to protect had suffered a horrible catastrophe.

Tahammul and his siblings protected the Vesterians that lived in their region. But after Daybreak, they began to understand why Rootbeard turned his back against the Vesterians. From the ashes of Daybreak emerged survivors that would eventually become the Sun Bandits we know today, who has become their sworn enemy.

Tahammul is one of the only Screaming Saguaros left. Most of the others had been vaporized along with the rest of the Rey Dynasty. The only other Screaming Saguaro left is one named Toni, but he hasn't been seen ever since he entered the tomb. Tahammul had assumed the worst and has only grown angrier towards the bandits.
