Lore

The leader of the Band of the Phoenix, Griff. His parents named him after the warrior god, believing he'd grow up into an exceptional hero. But Griff always fought back against the authority of his superiors, which resulted in him being one of the most undisciplined warriors in the entire faction.

Griff was exiled from the Redwood Warriors after a dastardly betrayal. He assisted in the kidnapping of the most skilled blacksmith the faction has ever seen: Ulbric the Masterful. To this day, nobody knows what fate Ulbric was met with. He's too valuable to kill, his expertise remains unmatched... we can only hope he's found unharmed.

After he was exiled, Griff rounded up all sorts of other exiled criminals from other factions. Griff's faction isn't just a threat to the Redwood Warriors, but to the Seaside Hunters and Ellenian Mages as well. The Band of the Phoenix has insider knowledge from all factions, giving them advantages that the factions are all are blind to.
