Lore

Nongdam Miyamoto and his brother, Nongdam Mizuki, were once apprentices of Sensei Ryuzo. One of them was destined to be chosen to inherit the mantle of Dragon Master for when Ryuzo passes. When the time comes, Mizuki and Miyamoto would battle to determine who would become the next Dragon Master.

Miyamoto desperately wished to become the new Dragon Master, but neither he or Mizuki could best one another in combat. To guarantee his victory, Miyamoto broke into the archives of the Dragon Temple and discovered the ancient fighting style of Gautao. For months, Miyamoto trained in secret, mastering the old god's methods.

Ryuzo discovered Miyamoto's treachory and banished him from the temple. But that wasn't going to stop him, for he constructed his own monastery, garnered his own following, and currently reigns supreme over half of the Dragon's Perch. If his streak continues, perhaps one day he may truly become the Dragon Master.
