An annual event gift box that always awards two things: a random "golden" item rolled from the game's level-25+ item catalog (with a small chance of a bonus quality attribute - roughly 1-in-15 odds split across vibrant/fierce/keen/swift, ~3% pristine, ~0.7% legendary, with rare unboxings announced server-wide) plus a random event consumable such as birthday cakes, holy or cursed scrolls, monster lures, fireworks, rainbow fish, or an ethyr pile. Earlier-year versions had a 35% chance to make the main roll a Mushroom Hero costume piece, and later versions add tiny chances at pet eggs and a forest fairy pet (about 0.01% weight); opening requires a living character and roughly two free slots in each inventory category, and a festive particle burst plays on success.
